Non Profit Organization "Girls for the World" dedicated to the growth, development, and empowerment of girls as powerful agents of social change in their communities and in the world, chose Jody Soland to compose and record songs for their program.

Jody's Songs  "Girls for the World" and "Becoming Who You Are" are the centerpiece of the program that guides girls through a journey of self discovery that sparks the imagination and builds confidence and leadership skills through the use of discussion, role play, art, music, dance and fitness, and mentorship.                        

This program launched in India in October, 2011, and it's founder Karen Hanson returned to India January 31, 2012 to continue her work.  Plans are underway for the program to be taken to Ecuador, El Salvador, and right here in the US.
